Three considerations for finding the perfect small chair

Having a hard time finding the perfect small, comfy chair? Keep a few things in mind.

  1. Make sure it has some type of area to rest your arms.
  2. Make sure it is not too deep. These chairs are supposed to fit your body and be comfortable, but there will be no napping in them. Keep it around 26 inches to 28 inches deep.
  3. Find something that supports your back properly and gives you a wide enough seat—23 inches to 26 inches is usually good.

A few of our favorites include this Jospehine Chair from Vanguard Furniture

…and these two options from Plantation Designs: the Ashbury Chair and the Morgan Arm Chair.
