We were excited to see a peak inside the design studio of one of our favorite fashion designers Jason Wu. This talented designer’s creations have been worn by a slew of fashionable females including First Lady Michelle Obama, Leighton Meester, January Jones, Cate Blanchett and Ivanka Trump.
Wu’s studio in the Garment District was recently featured in Vogue. According to Vogue, “Doorways lined with gray flannel drapes and wallpaper printed with early-aughts issues of The New York Observer (complete with crossword puzzles and an ad for The Matrix) add warmth to the bare concrete floors and abundance of windows.”
As with most working spaces, it is important to create an environment where one feels not only comfortable, but can express their creativity. Jason tells Vogue that “he aims to have his studio feel like a second home.”
