DIVNE and Michael Lee Photography

Last night was a great night! DIVNE Design Industry Vendors of New England and Michael Lee Photography hosted a wonderful event. Even the weather could not keep people from coming out to enjoy a meaningful presentation on the importance of photography in the design industry. I was so excited to be asked by Michael to create a vignette for the night’s event to showcase just how difficult it is to get that “money shot” that editors are looking for as well as the perfect shot that resonates with potential clients. Five guest were asked to photograph my vignette just to see how it would compare to a professional shot which was lots of fun.

I want to thank some of the wonderful vendors of DIVNE for the beautiful pieces that were donated to create the vignette: Ray Bachand of 60 nobscot, Jacqueline Becker of Fine Arts Consulting Services, Scott Gregorian of Gregorian Oriental Rugs, Karl Ivester of New England Shutter Mills, Wolfers Lighting and Marilyn of Lee Designs.

It was so much fun meeting and making new friends in the design industry.

  1. Michael,
I just wanted to say what a wonderful & informative it was (even the snow was beautiful). The entire ambiance of being out in the country, and seeing your work presented in that environment was so special. You are a very talented photographer with special qualities, an amazing eye for capturing and exposing the best images of your client’s work, and a wonderful way of explaining & teaching people about photography. Truly an art! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us all.

    Best wishes

    John Berenson
